From pounding the streets of Shanghai to treading the running tracks of Toronto, Feiyue’s 1920 Fe Lo canvas trainers have the global seal of approval. In the 1950s, Feiyue were the brand of shoe favoured by monks thanks to their durable design. Fast forward to the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the humble plimsole had a revival as they graced the feet of world-class martial art performers. Nowadays, the white canvas plimsolls have gone back to their more humble beginnings, becoming the shoe of choice for secondary school students in their PE lessons.
